The feeling I have had in the couple of hours since seeing Nicole suggests that nothing could raise the bar in a punting sense and that maybe I should give this hobby up now.

I had an amazing meal in a Malaysian restaurant once.  Doubt I will ever eat finer food or top the experience.  So I have given up eating out.

Sounds plain daft to me.

I understand the OP. Sometimes you have a punt so good you feel it can't be beaten so what's the point in continuing. I've tried to quit before and it wasn't easy or successful. Once a punter always a punter? Perhaps. Went to the GUM today and that always makes me want to quit. Then when i get the all clear it makes me feel free to punt again..
