Author Topic: A weird prelude to a punt  (Read 1593 times)

I made a booking online with a WG I'd not met before. She asks me to wait on the street and says she'll then walk me around to her back door to avoid the neighbours.
On the day of the punt, she's running late due to an emergency. Not a problem for me, I walk up and down the street a couple of times while waiting. Then out steps a work colleague who asks if I'm looking for someone and is there anything she can do to help? Said colleague is roughly the stated age of the WG and has mysteriously been absent from work for a month. I'm in mental overdrive by now- was this a coincidental meeting or has my workmate turned to escorting while off work?! Couldn't tell if her questions were a coded way of saying 'Yes, it's me and I know we know each other at work but we can go ahead if you like'. We stand there making polite conversation while I'm thinking, what if she decides to text the punter to ask where he is and my phone starts ringing? A situation where having a punting phone does not help! And wondering how to find out if it was really her I'd booked without being too obvious.
After about ten minutes of chatting, I see another woman walk down the street. She ignores me since I'm with someone, and I ignore her because I don't want co-worker to know why I'm there. Say goodbye to her, call the WG again who thankfully was the other woman I saw! All's well that ends well but for 15 minutes I thought my punting and public lives had crossed in a most unexpected manner. Luckily, I didn't try to proposition my workmate. Turns out she happened to live on the same street and had taken time off as she wasn't well. She'd seen me from her window and thought someone from work was coming to check on her.

Did you have to change your underwear after that?!!

How did you explain to your work colleague your presence outside her house?

A close call! You should have chanced it and offered your colleague a threesome :)

Well played, but how long before your colleague figures out that her neighbour is a WG..? then assumes you were a punter that day.. :scare:
I hope you gave, or have got a watertight reason for being on that road at that time

Killer question is whether your colleague is fuckable?

You better hope your colleague doesn't read ukp as well (I guess it's unlikely)

Kudos for keeping your cool - that was just a bit too close for comfort imo

About 12 years ago I contacted a touring w/g who was in my area offering sub services. Pre punt I contacted her 3 times to arrange a visit, each call was answered promptly. On the day of the punt I had been told to ring her from a certain car park when I arrived.

In my eagerness I got there 30 minutes early, so parked up and brought a paper, as I walked back to my car I saw that behind it was a man sitting in a van and next to that was a man leaning against a motorbike reading a paper.
At the agreed time I called the w/g this was not answered, within a few seconds of the unanswered call I saw in my rear view mirror the man leaning against his bike pull a phone from his pocket, read a message then get into the van, both then started looking around as if they were expecting to see someone.

Coincidence? most probably, but I wasn't going to take any chances and drove away, once a safe distance away and out of curiosity I tried ringing the w/g twice more, she never answered.

Thanks for the comments!
This happened on a quiet residential street and I was literally the only one on it, hence conspicuous to my workmate. I just gave a vague response as to why I was there, simpler than making up some elaborate story.
Her apartment was on one side of the street, the WG lived off a turn on the other side. I made sure I was beyond my workmate's visibility before meeting the WG.
After going through all this, there's no way I'd have backed out of the punt which turned out very good. While my colleague is definitely fuckable, it's not worth the potential hassle at work. I'm not her line manager but  am more senior and could be considered to have a supervisory role. Let's hope she's not an avid UKP reader.
