I found it quite strange in Japan that I could buy "porn" from open display even in railway stations. The manga books which "salary men" buy to read on their journeys have very expicit sex scenes and are read in open carriages. JAV porn is widely available on the internet (even if some are "censored"). And yet I found the morality very strong, the girls and women in the office would be friendly but would not see me outside of work. In the "night life areas" of Tokyo it appeared the only male pleasure on offer were private video rooms... couch, tv and dvds! I went out several times with collegues to bars (expensive) - about £250 one night got me a couple of glasses of scotch and a hostess to help me drink it!! I was never offered "oriental delights" or even heard it mentioned...
I have punted with several orientals in UK - Chinese, Malay, Thai - but never a true Japanese beauty. So the search must continue...

Believe it or not but Japan is probably the most progressive of the East Asian lot. You just have to be able to speak Japanese and be willing to spend big in order to get serviced. Korea's strong sense of xenophobia gives meaning to the phrase "can't score in a whorehouse". It is not uncommon for a waygookin (Korean for foreigner) to walk through Amsterdam-like RLDs (the second lowest form of prostitution in the country) and be completely ignored by the hookers. In Korea it is not what you know, but who you know. Regardless of how much Korean you can speak and how much money you're willing to spend, most hookers will simply turn you away in fear of loosing favour with the locals.
The sheer number of providers in China means you don't need to look very long in order to find a girl that suits your needs. With the average establishment hosting hundreds of girls, they don't mind sacrificing a few of them to lowai clientele. Unfortunately, billions of dollars of business deals and commitments are made in these places on a yearly basis and it is an accepted part of East Asian culture. The women know their husbands go to these places and they condone it.
