Something really freaky happened today. I was just browsing my FB feed and noticed some pretty hot lady selling something on a buy and sell page. I clicked profile and immediately recognised the face as an escort i had seen about 18-24months ago. Immediately i felt like msging to ask if she fancies a meet for all time sake but noticed shes had  a child from her pics. How mad is that and it makes you think how social media can come and bite you on the ass after 2yrs or so and they live over 1hr away from me. So the point is be careful when advertising things via FB sell and buy pages.

And that’s why I deliberately stay well clear of my face and twatted , having 3 I phones and an  I pad and having no idea how thay link , I’m just happy to avoid the shit storm I just know I would bring apon my self, it has happened to friends in varying ways, none punt  ( to my knowledge ) so nothing as serious as could bestow any of us but has caused problems for a couple of them and one very close shave.

I had a bit of a shock around a year ago when a punt told me after our session that when I had phoned her to let her know I had arrived outside, her phone had shown her my name even though I'd never called her on it before because my number was linked to my Facebook page! I think WhatsApp does the same thing! I removed the number from Facebook pronto but I have no idea how many other girls would have been able to see the same thing and potentially view my personal details. I shudder to think of the potential consequences!!

I don't think anybody really knows or understands fully how all the various platforms link together or share data. I refuse to join either FB or Twitter and my punting phone does not have What'sapp installed. But I still don't feel 100% anonymous.

Think I may invest in a separate punting SIM card from now on!

In all serious wilko its a must have in this game. I use a payg sim on a cheap phone. If your on contract your details are link to the phone and number and can be discovered if you know where to look.

If someone gives their post code and house number. I'm sure it's easy to see who they are if you know  where to look.

When working in the smoke a few years back, we used to google rolls Royce , Ferrari etc private number plate numbers,  while sat in the pubs off kings cross etc, there names, company names etc would come up straight away, technology has opened many doors making punting so easy for old twats like me, but it’s a double edged sword, it can just as easily fuck you over !

Always use a burner,  some people say they are single and have got nothing to lose but circumstances can quickly change,  and for the sake of a few quid its worth keeping your privacy in tact.

I also had a clients  number display his name. I've also bumped into clients while on Facebook.

It's scary just how linked it all is and very close to home. Not great if found in the wrong hands. I believe that storing the number in my phone has some how enabled that person to show up in "the people you might know" list. From face pictures it's easy to recognise.

I do know of clients who request that I delete all records of their number from my phone - call records texts ..

Perhaps this can aid in preventing a link to Facebook ? Could be a good way forward for some?
