Easy to cancel.  One click on the website once you found the cancel section in the help section.  Dead easy.  No emails needed.  Cancelled several times and never had an issue with payments being taken when they shouldn't.  I wouldn't sign for 3 months for 2 reasons.  Firstly it isn't that much cheaper and secondly as a newbie you could easily slip up on an email and end up getting banned and get zero refund until you get used to the site.

I am coming close to the end of my month's membership on SA and can report that it does work. True you get the usual array of timewasters and scammers but once identified these can be blocked both on the site and whatsapp/sms if you have given out your phone number, although in all fairness most of them just go away if you ignore them long enough.
