Does anyone still ‘pick up’ girls in Bournemouth? I don’t see as many as I used to see in the usual landsdown area. But I actually see more walking round different random areas, saw a alright one walking around wallisdown a while back, was slightly tempted but decided not to. And saw another just a few evenings ago walking past pokesdown station.

Any good experiences?

I've no idea whether you are in fact "short" but I certainly struggle with the concept that you are  in any way "sensible".

Another bizarre post showing a complete lack of understanding of the issues of this industry/pastime.

Most, probably all, police forces have zero tolerance when it comes to the street trade. So tempted you may have been but, if you show any interest in such ladies, don't be surprised if plod takes a keen interest in you too.

The sensible option is to stay well away from anyone who looks like they're "looking for business" on the streets.

I miss the thrill of the hunt, no idea on Bournemouth, but seems quite rare in most places.

Good luck.   :hi:

I.m with houseboot on this.

Apart from potential interest from Mr Plod, most (ok not necessarily all but most) street girls are junkies who will do more or less anything to get money so that they can get drugs. So cleanliness/hygiene are usually issues. Why risk it? That is not sensible. It might be cheaper in the short term but if you continue, it almost certainly will not be cheaper longer term!

Why risk it?

For the excitement, adrenaline buzz, thrill of the hunt.

Up to OP if its a risk he wants to take.

Here is the latest street prossie review for the South west

A few months ago I inadvertently opened a mis-delivered letter meant for one of my neighbours.

A Court summons for having picked up a lady in a Bristol area known for street walkers.

Not a letter that I'd like to receive.

I'm sure the OP would get an adrenaline buzz out of that.

Well that's up to him, I sure he is aware of the law.

Thanks for exposing yourself that opens other peoples mail,, that is illegal too.   :bomb: :bomb:  IF True and that's a big if.

VW, To be fair, he did say he  "inadvertently" opened the letter.

But I take your point, its up to each of us as individuals to decide for ourselves the level of risk we are prepared to take. Clearly houseboot and I don't think its worth the risk and just gave an opinion.

S&S - a couple of years ago, the street scene was more Palmerston Rd, St Clements Rd, Walpole Rd and Southcote Rd rather than the Lansdowne area. Not sure were it is now if at all.

If you live by yourself you pick up the mail from the mat and open it.

The assumption is that it's for you.

It's only on occasions like this when you think WTF that you then look at the name and address and realise that postie has made a mistake.

Yes it's up to the OP whether he takes the risk of not.

Far better to make him fully aware of the consequences than to encourage him to blindly go where most of us wouldn't dream of going.

Wow I opened can of worms here!

Going back to first reply, thanks for your concerns. I’ve only ever picked up 1 street girl, maybe 2/2&half years ago (I do everything protected on a first meet, don’t have a problem with condoms at all) Even though over the last decade driven past maybe a couple of hundred? At a wild guess. Never even looked twice at the junkie looking ones, but the one I saw looked fairly ‘normal’

And Yes I’ve always thought about police, but people still do it.

A while ago I was getting fuel at the landsdown petrol station, it was dark but only about 6:30/7pm. I saw a hooker slowly walking along, saw a van drive slowly past, went round the roundabout then drove back up, stopped by the curb outside the petrol station blocking one lane, the girl opens the door, 2 second chat then she jumps in and he shoots off. It was so obvious. He had a fairly Recognisable van too.

Picking up street workers, it's the kind of thing we used to do up the Cheddar Rd in the eighties!. Looking back it's so fuckin dodgy didn't know it still went on. Also used to tour round some areas looking for the 'red lights'!. How things have changed. :hi:

For those that may be interested this is the RL district in Bournemouth but it does extend outside the black line though. I 'discovered' it after being shown a 'rat run' / shortcut when working in the Pokesdown area. Said short cut is down Palmerston Rd and into St Clements Rd. There is a Church with fair sized grounds there that the walking dead favour on the left. Carry on down to the crossroads and turn right onto Southcote rd. There's a park area and a Bowling green / club on the left where again the walking dead tend to hang out. You'll see them come out around sunset, at least it was always early evening that I saw them if I'd been working late.

That's the short cut but they can be seen on other roads along there too as well as in the main Boscombe shopping area and along the Christchurch Rd down to Pokesdown station. There are a lot of CCTV cameras around that area. Seen them frequently hanging around on street corners right under the cameras. Most of the walking dead are junkies / addicts as Boscombe does have a bit of a druggy / pisshead reputation.

Yes Cupidstuntz you are right, that area is full of druggies and pissheads.

If you try picking up streetwalkers then nine times out of ten they will be crack addicts.

In this day and age of adultwork, gumtree, and massage shops,I think you need your head testing if you look for street prossies.

There were loads out and about in the usual places last week. The days of picking them up are well behind me though. Fun back in the day but way too risky, on many fronts,  now.

Not surprised they were outthd media promote that as the main way to go about it.

Agree with you 100% Ricky. Been there done it many years ago and was nervous every time half expecting a plod car to pull up alongside mid blow job. Thank fuck it never happened and those days are long gone. Much better deal in a rub n tug shop where you feel much safer and the surroundings are more pleasant too.

Drove past St Clements Church around 1600 on Thursday and there was one sat out on the wall in broad daylight eyeballing and winking at drivers going past. Possibly on a come down and needed funds pronto?
