I have posted about this before and it just come back. Not sure what to do. I would be nervous about going to the police i don't know how serious it is. this guy texted me, I ignored it. then he called me and threatened me on the phone, I hung up and blocked him.

Certainly given me the jitters.

Here's the text he sent me.

Of course none of is true, I don't book a woman and then not turn up. If I booked anyone and then something else happenned that meant I could not go, I will always text them and apologise and they are normally ok about it. So not sure what he's on about.

Block and move on.

I think they've been watching too many movies.

Offline jonko

indeed. Lets see, I did that once before but they just then started texting me on another number.      :D :diablo:

I message back asking for their bank details to humour myself

Once I get bored, I burn the number on the TextMe app and get a new one

Ask them for their bank details, they will have to give you a name as well as the account number and sort code. Then report the account to the bank at which it is held. Their account will get blocked.

Offline Miguel86

Legit “mafia” or elite level criminals don’t send messages asking for £800, do you honestly believe that high level criminal gangs are going to risk exposing themselves and their operation for a measly sum like that ?
It’s some low level pimp trying his hand, I’ve had a similar message a couple of years back, with a picture of a guy on his knees with a hood over his head, and men stood behind him holding guns and machetes.

They said they knew where I lived unless I paid £1,500 into an account, they also said I had 2 hours to comply otherwise they would come to my front door  :D

I just laughed when I read it.

Trust me, it’s total 🐂💩

Like somebody else said get there bank details and have some fun with them :hi:

Yip same as me l got a text and a phone call yesterday. Same as you this is my second message,  in a matter of a month.
Just Block it and report it as a scam. You will probably get another in a month's time.

Online webpunter

You can report anonymously to crime stoppers
Attaching the text that you received
You could also post the link that @bb provided

CS will have access to databases of mobile numbers
If enough people report the same thing they might look into it
The location is showing as on so CS and or the rozzers can pinpoint this piece of piss

I wouldnt reply either with bank details request or telling them to FRO, just block the number
& make sure that location isnt switched on your punting mobile

Offline youngppunter7

When they say they know where you live, always ask them to prove it. Ask for your house number or a postcode, heck even the area in the north west. They’ll take a long pause before changing the subject

surprised it's banks and not  crypto wallet address they send. There's always those who fall for blatant scams, they'll probably make quite a bit from it. I'd just block and if they contact from other numbers, swap your number

Jonko
First don't be scared or threatened by this. Many of us have received these, I've had several. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN

Either ignore them and move on.
Or tell the twat to fuck off and then move on
If you want to tell the Police then fine, but realistically there's not a lot they can do given time/manpower constraints

It's worth changing your phone number just to avoid the BS calls

and on a transfers reason you will put extortion?

Offline LondonDominic

Haha - "The head of the hitmen"! Love it.

Offline jonko

Thanks all. I did block and not heard anything since. The text from these guys is one thing but when the call you and “listen You  twat, I’m Frank and I’m the “hit man” head of the mafia controlling these girls in Manchester. You messed around with one of my girls and made her lose money. Now I’m gonna fuck with you and your family , I know where you live so here’s what we gonna do . You pay £1k now to my account and this problem will go away. Othwise this problem will arrive at your s and your families door”.

Now you may laugh, but it’s  ficking scary at the time when gruff sounding Serge calls you up out of the blue, when you not expecting it.

I’m over it now. But every time I text a call girl and ask her what her services are, I always wonder who’s gonna be on the other end of that phone. I need to stop using this one and get a new SIM card.

Dude u should've asked for his bank details cause u get his name. Then reply with "thanks, I'll pass your name and details to the police." They will shit their pants.

Yes you are right, i should have done that. if he ever calls back will do that.

Offline ds1836

This is clearly someone pushing their luck
By chance, I received one of these texts earlier today completely out of the blue.  I also had a missed call, I never answer calls on my punting phone unless I'm going on a meet.
It would appear that my number has obviously been saved by a WG/pimp/maid etc as I haven't messaged anyone on it in a couple of months.  I have been in touch with two ladies in the last 3-4 weeks but this was through the AW messaging system and numbers were not exchanged as those didn't turn into meets.
I blocked and deleted the text I received today, it was a very amateurish scam IMO and it hasn't phased me in the slightest, its just annoying as I'll probably get spammed again. May have to change the number/sim when the monthly credit expires.
Like others have mentioned on here, there's no chance they've got your details apart from your number, and even if they did know where you lived they won't come knocking.

Offline versace

I was sent something similar awhile back - https://www.ukpunting.com/index.php?topic=377574.0

It’s all bollocks mate.

Just ask for a sort code & account number
Its maybe a ton / 250 to find out whose account it is, as a private individual
A bit more difficult now that there are more banks, like the challenger internet based banks
If its one of the clearing banks, thank you very much !
The rozzers can find the details in about 0.5 secs [edit: if they are inclined to do so]

If you're using a punting phone they would be hard pressed to get your details.  If you got his details and then went through the online motions of doing a bank transfer (but obviously not send the money) it'll usually show the receiver's details so in theory you'll be able to see 'Frank's' details. Then you could pass it onto one of those Nigerian phishing scammers!  :D

Must be a shock to initally receive that but like the others say all b/s. The guy has been watching too much of the escort walk up scene in Taken 1!

Offline jonko

Yes agreed. Next time i will do that, but it will a couple of weeks not before I start ringing around again for a nice hot girl as I just satisfied my appetite with Little Iris, so that's me done for a couple of weeks.

Offline Bobaddy

I recently contacted this lady about a meet, she requested my phone number and a photo of my driving licence for her safety.
I obviously didn't sent it.
Sergei could be all over that for blackmail reasons.

Wow - damn right. I would hope that no one was foolish enough to offer their DL or any ID come to that. You did the right thing.

Are you able to narrrow it down to which WG it might relate to?

I actually have no idea. Because I hadn’t contacted any women for well over a week, the message came about 10 days later.

In my experience that's fairly typical: they try to avoid linkage

If he was who he claims to be he wouldn’t write that, also mate may be good idea to take ya number off. This post

Just had Frank threaten me. Apparently he is the head of the Mafia. Wants £1000. Threatening to come to my home.

It is connected to the review I gave on 8th March. He read out the texts to me that I sent on 8th March to Larysa.

We should all get together and send Frank texts from our punting phones telling him we're the henchmen from the Hells Angels Gang and he's stepping on our territory. Were watching him and we'll pay him a visit soon.

 ;)

Offline DASBOOT

If you stand up to him, then he soon backs down. There was another guy in the background. He was reading out the texts that I had sent to Larysa. He soon got fed up as I had no intention of paying. He gave me the sort code, account number and card holders name.

I tried phoning him back, but it went straight to voice mail. He is connected to Larysa and other Romanian girls who work together.

He put on a tough voice and the other one who is his cousin sounded like he needed an exorcist. I actually found it all quite amusing.

Might be a plan to get a new PAYG SIM card for this assuming you are motivated to do this
Rather than potentially scupper your usual punting number, or at least get unwanted texts etc

I couldn't quite read it, to see if showing online.  There must be some mechanism to spam the shit out of Frank on text

Offline jonko

They’re back again. This time it’s Igor - different number than Franks.

Just gonna ignore it.
