I have been asked to "lend" a few WGs money on ocassion over the years, my response is always a firm no and i say you should ask your own family or friends not me. I then dont return even if i was going to before they asked. This applies to anyone i do business with, its a fucking cheek to even have the gall to ask in my view.

No, I'm comfortable without the power thing.  Yes I have given money when I've thought its genuine but more often if its something for their kids then I've bought the item myself but more often I've just agreed to do a few punts in the same week.

I've lived with girls that I've met through punting, others I've become friends of their family.  Not saying I wasn't being used to some extent (not many people turn down a gift-horse) but it certainly has been a long way from being 100% one-sided, I may be soft but I'm a realist, I've got what I've wanted/needed, they've got what they wanted/needed.
