I recently undertook 5 internal US flights with Delta, and was treated to the biggest load of frumps aged 45 and upwards I've never seen. There was just one who was passable - after a few beers !! I found out most were Atlanta-based and explain a high proportion were Afro-Americans.  Not a white/latino MILF amongst 'em. You would try and chat them up for a stopover.

Now on the Vrgin flight out and home, it was a different story..........

I was one of the rare straight male flight attendants in the 80,s with BA and after long haul flights we would be booked into the best hotels waiting for our next flight and during these waiting periods we had some of the most amazing room parties, Pilots included. Boredom and drink = Sex
We may not have worked with each other again as there were that many crew then. So no one cared.

Delta are well known for employing more mature staff, both men and women. Interesting fact (that my or may not be true) is that for internal US airline work, the pay ain't exactly great. I am sure when I was told it,, that it was suggested that at that time pilots were only paid the equivalent of something in the mid-high £20k range, so it's not exactly glamorous. I've flown Delta many, many times, and I can't say I've ever once got horny thoughts about the cabin crew, girls or boys.

One of my ex-wives and 3 of my ex-girlfriends were air hostesses, so I've some background on this subject. Most of whats been written about them shagging the flight deck, getting laid on all those foreign trips and indulging in wild drug-fuelled parties in overseas hotels are true but not to the point whereby you could generalise and state that it's the case for all of them.

However, there are two stereotypes that are bang on.
